TIMBERS CIVIC ASSOCIATION, INC.

Eagle Scout, Robby Barsin, envisioned an Eagle Scout Project that would encourage children to engage in unstructured outdoor play and exercise. He used his extensive carpentry and planning skills to design a Gaga Ball Pit (enclosed type of dodgeball) for the Timbers Recreation Area.

 

After months of planning, organizing and fundraising, on a cold November 2019 weekend, Robby brought his vision to life. He directed, led and organized his team of scouts and neighbors in the successful construction of the Gaga Ball Pit.

The Gaga Ball Pit has been a huge neighborhood hit and is a welcome addition to the Recreation Area.
