

BYLAWS COMMITTEE

The BYLAWS COMMITTEE works with the Executive Board to review, research and proposes amendments of current bylaws for the benefit the lot owners of TIMBERS as needed.

Amendments to the Bylaws are brought to the Executive Board. The Executive Board votes whether or not to bring forth the proposed amendment for a community wide signed vote.
​
The Executive Board creates the ballots and keeps the signed paper ballots as a matter of record.

SOCIAL & FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE

The FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE with the Executive Board to coordinate fundraising activities to pay for fundraising events.
The Recreation Area is considered a venue for the use by members for Social & Recreational Activities.
All parties or social activities are paid for soley with DONATIONS & FUND RAISING money, NOT with annual dues from Timbers Civic Association members. The Social & Fundraising Committee solicits fundraising and event ideas from members. All money earned from fundraising activities are kept by the Timbers Treasurer, but are earmarked for social events.

STANDING COMMITTEES
BUDGET AND FINANCE

The BUDGET AND FINANCE COMMITTEE works with the Executive Board to determine the annual fiscal priorities for the Timbers Community. It also takes input from and works with the four other committees to establish a yearly budget for improvements and maintenance to the Recreation Area.
Responsible conducting an annual audit of the Treasurer's financial records.​

RECREATION, MAINTENANCE AND DEVELOPMENT

​The Recreation, Maintenance and Development Committee works with the Exective Board to identify maintenance and improvements needs -- primarily for the recreation area and playground, but also upkeep to the community entrance. Committee sets goals and a timetable for maintenance and improvements. Coordinates dates and recruits volunteers for community clean up.
